Applicants must meet the minimum requirements:
Candidates who are being considered for Class or Subject Teacher positions will be invited to an interview with our Hiring Committee. Candidates who are short-listed after that interview will then be asked to teach a demonstration lesson to one of our classes while being observed by members of the Hiring Committee. A full benefits package is provided for salaried staff working full time including health insurance and tuition discount for teachers’ children enrolled in our school.
We also accept resumes for our Substitute Teacher List throughout the school year. Applicants who are selected for our Substitute Teacher List are invited for an orientation and for observing in a classroom. Rate of pay is commensurate with level of education and experience.

Who are we searching for?
We can begin our search for experienced class and subject teachers anytime in the school year. We favor applicants who are eligible for a Virginia Teaching Certificate (i.e. hold a Bachelor of Education degree) and/or proven teaching experience. We are looking for warm, imaginative, committed, and dynamic individuals to join our faculty and community. In addition, we look for teaching assistants, preferably those with experience, as well as support staff for our growing enrollment.
What do we offer?
Our salaries range, depending on training and experience. We also offer teacher training and workshops, sick leave and vacation days, and a 50% reduction of tuition for children of full-time faculty and staff.
