Bukhari Abdel-Alim

bukhariBukhari Abdel-Alim is native to Richmond, Virginia. Early education consisted of Henrico and Caroline County Public Schools and ICVA Sunday School. College studies at VCU School of Engineering and ECPI College of Technology concluded with an A.S. in Biomedical Engineering Technology in 2006 with Magna Cum Laude honors. Since 2006 his professional career has included BMET positions with MCV, Philips, Cardinal Health and currently a Senior Field Service Technician for Carefusion/BD Corp managing ventilation and pulmonary diagnostic medical equipment across a multi-state territory.

Bukhari is 11 years married and has 2 young sons, 4 years and 9 months, who will Insha-Allah have a better education to look forward to. Bukhari is a strong advocate for youth development beyond the classroom and has had an active role with various youth programs including the ICVA Youth Group, MIST, Ansar’s Basketball Team, TPS camping trips and the Founder, Coach and Coordinator for the Blue Eagles Shotgun Team established in 2014, currently competing in the Virginia Youth Trapshooting League.
