Amir Saeed is a native of Lahore, Pakistan, grew up in Long Island New York, and is a graduate of SUNY Stony Brook, having earned his B.S. in Information Systems. He currently serves as Chairman of Iqra Academy of Virginia and has been elected as the New Chairman of Al Madinah. His past services to the community include serving as Chairman and founding member for Muslim Community Center of Chesterfield, Regional Director and founding member of MIST Richmond, Vice Chair and founding member of West End Islamic Center, Director at MDQ Academy (NY), Director of Masjid Darul Quran (NY), Member of Masjid Noor (NY), Member of Islamic Center of Long Island (NY). His professional experience includes VP Information Technology at Capital One, VP Distributed Systems/Network Engineering at North Fork Bank, Director Data Center Technologies at 5B Technologies, and Director Information Technologies at Galt IT.
His current ventures include Owner/Operator of Jannat Farms and Managing Partner of Jannat Travel and Tours. At present Amir Saeed lives in Chesterfield, Virginia with his family.
